Which are located on campus in the hospital, in the same building were we run the program.
Our apartments are single occupancy, studios.
Rent for $950 per month.
Some studio apartments are furnished,
They have a kitchen with a stove and a refrigerator.
There is no central air conditioning. However, small individual window air conditioners can be purchased at the tenant’s expense.  Our maintenance staff will have to install them at no charge. There is central heating for the building.
No additional charge for utilities (gas, heat, electricity & water). They are included in the monthly rent. Wi-Fi is available to individual apartments at an additional fee of $20 per month.
The current monthly rent is $625 per month for the unfurnished studio apartments, and $725 per month for the furnished studio apartments. The first month’s rent has to be paid in advance of moving into the apartment along with a one month security deposit of $625, bringing the total cost before moving in, to $1250 for the unfurnished studios and $1450 for the furnished studio apartments.
The security deposit will be returned when you move out of the apartment if the apartment is in excellent condition. However, it will take approximately eight (8) weeks for it to be returned to you. It will be returned to you via U.S. mail to an address of your choosing.
The maximum lease we will give a tenant is one year; the minimum lease we will give a tenant is three months. Leases can be renewed, continuously, as long as the tenant remains a student doing clinical rotations at JPH.
We rent apartments on, or near, the first of a month with the rent due on the first of each subsequent month.
On the same day the payments are made and the lease signed, apartment keys will be issued to the tenant.
